CELEBRATE EARTH DAY IN MERCED APRIL 12, 2025

JOIN US, in collaboration with City of Merced Parks and Recreation and the East Merced Resource Conservation District , for our 4th Annual Earth Day Celebration. This year we will be celebrating at “Yoga Park” , located along the Michael O Sullivan Bike Path.

Join us for a morning clean up along the creek and within the park from 9-10am(sign ups @ 8:45am). ♻️

The Event will run from 9am-12pm
Come visit the vendors and learn about local Wildlife & Habitat Conservation, Environmental Education & Native Plants. Plus Hands on activities and more.

CreekFIT** Update** MISSION COMPLETE

** UPDATE** 8.44 Tons(16,880LBS) of trash was removed from Bear Creek in just under 4 hours.

Bear Creek Yacht Club fitness inspired cleanup event on Bear Creek.

Bear Creek Yacht Club has partnered with Reno Bandoni Fitness as a Sponsor of the first annual CreekFIT Bear Creek cleanup. We will be focusing on the Rst Bridge down steam to the Walking bridge. Please join us. You'll be amazed at what can be accomplished in such a short period.

Check-in: 9:45 a.m.
Event Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

What to bring: Smartphone (to check-in via QR code), long pants, long-sleeved shirt, closed-toed shoes, water, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

What to expect: Volunteers will use their smartphones to check in via QR code. Please arrive on time, as the safety talk will start shortly after check-in. BCYC will provide litter sticks, gloves, and trash bags as supplies last.
We also encourage companies along our waterways to sponsor company cleanup events. If your company has Community Service events, please keep us in mind and contact us to get involved.
